"@McLarenMercedes When you pull up to the line and are about to race. Do you think the driver's start debating about who is more efficient LOL. Now for a road course I would argue that the F458 has the clear advantage because heat soak is a much bigger issue for forced induction cars. Especially the ZR1. the ZR1 system by nature requires HP to spin it's S/C. The GTR requires RPM's to generate exhuast to spin the turbo. The magic of the GTR is the transmission always keeping you in boost range."
"@McLarenMercedes Also. The ZR1 is a 6.2L. Not a 6.3L which is the LS3 which is the base model. Also. the F458 makes 570HP but has very little torque. The LS7 found in the ZO6 makes 505HP and 470FT TQ and has 7.0L motor. it also gets 27MPH on the freeway. Is that efficient for you? GTR gets better MPG than F458 and weighs 1000pounds more. Is that efficient for you. Seems like the F458 supporters are brand loyalists. Still the F458 would be my first pick if money no object. Doesn't mean I'm blind"
